The Wall Cosmos U10 boys soccer team under the guidance of head coach Mike Penkethman and Lead Trainer Mike Turtle (SST) finished up an extremely successful Fall 2011 campaign. The team played in (MOSA) Monmouth Ocean Soccer Association and finished league play 8-1-1 placing them first in the Premier Division. The boys also competed in two MAPS level tournaments. The first was the NJSA Labor Day Tournament where the Cosmos finished 3-0-1 including a 6-0 victory over NJSA Silver and a 2-2 tie with Match Fit. The second was the MAPS Fall Challenge where the boys again secured 3 victories on their way to a 3-1 record and third place finish with their victory over the NJ Dynamo. The Cosmos overall Fall 2011 record including league play and tournaments was 18-2-2. The Cosmos scored 62 goals while only giving up 15 including 11 shutouts.
